Joanne Bate

Principal Dentist GDC No 68120

Joanne qualified from Birmingham University in 1992. She joined Hadfield Dental Care in 2000 and became a partner in 2007. Jo is a keen baker.

Jacqueline Collins

Principal Dentist GDC No 69312

Jackie qualified in Liverpool in 1993 and joined Hadfield Dental Care upon qualification.  Along with Joanne, she became a partner in 2007.  In her spare time, Jackie is an avid reader and gardener.

Tamsin Page

Practice Manager GDC No 290650

Tamsin joined Hadfield Dental Care in 2007 as a receptionist.  She later went on to do her dental nursing qualification and became the practice manager in 2021.  Tamsin enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Ovidiu Crucin

Associate Dentist GDC No 156635

Ovi qualified in Romania in 2001. He has worked in the UK since 2008 and joined Hadfield Dental Care on a permanent basis in 2022, having previously worked with us as a locum in 2012. Ovi enjoys cycling and walking around the local area.

Andrew Winters

Associate Dentist GDC No 209807

Andrew qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2011 and joined Hadfield Dental Practice in 2017, bringing with him experience from practices across Liverpool, Macclesfield, and Marple.

He is committed to delivering high-quality, modern dentistry and regularly attends postgraduate courses to stay up to date with the latest techniques and materials. In 2020, Andrew was awarded a Master of Science (MSc) with Merit in Endodontology from the University of Chester, enabling him to confidently provide complex and high-quality root canal treatments.

In 2025, Andrew completed a year-long Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry course with one of Europe’s leading providers, the Chris Orr Course in London. He particularly enjoys providing advanced restorative and cosmetic treatments, including smile makeovers with composite bonding, veneers, crowns, and clear aligners.

Andrew is known for his calm, friendly approach and always takes extra time to ensure patients feel comfortable and well-informed. As a profoundly deaf dentist and proud recipient of a cochlear implant, he places great importance on clear communication and is especially excellent with nervous or anxious patients.

Outside of dentistry, Andrew enjoys hiking in the Peak District with his partner, Alice, and their beloved Lagotto Romagnolo.

Rachel Chen

Associate Dentist GDC No 309393

Rachel graduated from the University of Manchester in 2023 and has since completed her Diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFDS RCS Ed).

She enjoys all areas of general dentistry, with a particular interest in cosmetic and restorative treatments.  Rachel also provides clear aligner treatment, helping patients achieve straighter, healthier, and more confident smiles.  She is committed to ongoing professional development and regularly attends courses to stay up to date with the latest techniques and advances in dentistry.

Early in her career, Rachel gained valuable experience working within Community Dental Services, where she supported a wide range of patients, including children, those with additional needs, and individuals who feel anxious about dental treatment.  She understands that visiting the dentist can feel daunting for many people, so she always aims to create a calm, friendly, and reassuring environment.   Rachel is qualified in both inhalation and intravenous sedation, which allows her to help nervous patients feel more relaxed and comfortable during their care.

Outside of work, Rachel is a big foodie and loves travelling with her partner, exploring new cuisines and cultures around the world.  To balance it out, she enjoys getting outdoors for long walks, hikes, and bike rides- especially anywhere surrounded by nature.

Shuaib Ahmed

Associate Dentist GDC No 318031

Shuaib graduated from the university of Leeds and enjoys providing high-quality dental care tailored to each patients individual needs.  He is passionate about building a good rapport with patients and making visits to the dentist as comfortable and relaxed as possible.

He has a keen interest in restorative dentistry and regularly attends courses and further training to continue developing his skills and provide the best care for his patients.

Outside of dentistry, Shuaib enjoys spending time with his family, going on walks, travelling and playing tennis whenever he gets chance.  He is also a huge Manchester United fan and is always happy to talk football with patients.

Sarah Sullivan

Dental Therapist/Hygienist GDC No 6203

Sarah started her career in dentistry in 1995 as a dental nurse.  After completing several dental qualifications, she left nursing to pursue a career in dental hygiene/therapy.  She qualified from Sheffield dental school in 2003 and has worked for Hadfield Dental Care since the very beginning of her dental employment.  Sarah enjoys long walks with her family and dog.
